The 2018 Arkansas Literary Festival is scheduled for April 26-29, 2018.
The premier gathering of readers and writers in Arkansas, each year's Festival includes dozens of presenters who have achieved national and international acclaim. Panels and sessions are facilitated by authors and illustrators from across the country and cover genres and topics such as science, nature, crime, science fiction, classic literature, southern culture, social commentary, literary fiction, the arts, religion, economics, politics, and philosphy.
Pulitzer Prize and Grammy Award winners, filmmakers, comedians, and artists were among the diverse roster of presenters at the 14th annual Arkansas Literary Festival in 2017. The Central Arkansas Library System's (CALS) Main Library campus and many other Little Rock venues were the sites for this stimulating mix of sessions, panels, special events, performances, workshops, presentations, book sales, book signings, and opportunities to meet authors. Every year most events are free and open to the public.
